Sheldon's manufacture their own products wherever possible, and are not
restrained by standard modules and sizes. Each kitchen is a one off design,
a reflection of your lifestyle and personality.
There is a vast range of organic and man-made materials to consider when
planning your kitchen. The Sheldon team are accustomed to working with
new and recycled timber, artificial and natural stone, stainless steel
and wrought iron, glass and tiles; from the latest high tech coatings
to oil and wax, rusticated to modern slick. Or run your ideas past them,
they love a challenge!

Sheldons can manufacture timber bench tops in any species. Our
minimum lamination width is 70mm, giving a less stripey appearance
than glue lam. We finish with 2- pac polyurethane, our paint schedule
is a minimum of nine coats each side, with particular attention
to sealing any cutouts.
Granite, a great natural look, Sheldons will organise contractors
for your convenience.Breton stone eg Quantum Quartz, Ceasar stone
etc. guaranteed colour and non-porosity. Again Sheldons will organise
contractors for your convenience. Freestyle from Laminex is also
available on request.Laminate, Diamond Gloss, square edge standard
laminates. The latest rolled edge profiles, also timber edge.
We can also supply the raw timber edged tops ready for tiles, live
edge flitch for the rustic look, or stainless steel.

Sheldon's have many different stains, washes, pigments, clear coating,
all done in house. Whatever the requirement, from milk paint, to
gloss, to distressed we can finish timber the right way.

because of our ability to fully customise your kitchen, different
heights are no problem. A bench height of 900mm is an industry standard,
but we find 950mm or 1000mm to be popular, even different heights
on the same job for different work areas. With older homes and the
trend back to higher ceilings, the industry standard for tall cabs
of 2100mm is out of proportion, we suggest 2400mm, or finish to
ceiling or bulkhead.

well it is Sheldon's Timber Kitchens, and we can source any species
in any form. Our milling facility enables us to finish to any specification,
more popular species are Baltic Pine, New Guinea Rose Wood, Chile
Myrtle, Silver Ash, Recycled Oregon, Tasmanian Ash, Jarrah, and
Hoop Pine is our in house specialty. Mix and match species for special
effect, we are the experts in this medium, this valuable, dwindling
resource is best left to people who know and love timber.
